It has been a matter of an endless dispute whether parents or society are the best teachers kids can get. Up to now it is likelier that the closest relatives are ahead of the rest of the competitors in terms of proper growing, care and assistance in life. That is why in the following paragraphs I support the statement without any reservations.
At fist we have children care and attention in their most perceiving years – the initial seven. The people who look after and bring up the brand new individuals right from their birth are their own parents. They are constantly beside them in times when basic skills like walking and talking are developed. On the other hand children always turn instinctively to their nearest and dearest faces when lacking support of any kind.
Secondly, parents slip into the role of teachers when the real ones are away. Meeting problems on every step in their teenage and even mature people years, children look for understanding, assistance or just an advice. When no one else is capable or able of giving it to them they chose to rely on the already experienced in life people at home. And the frequent saying: “I’ve already been where you come from” just amplifies the inner feeling: “That’s the right man to ask!”
Instead of conclusion I would like to say that the closest to the heart – the parents – are better than anyone in guiding their own kids through the obstacles of living. There is not a more reliable friend than your own mother or father, because they know your longings and troubles better than anyone else and even more important – they are into them right from the start.
