I personally think that there are many reasons that students choose to attend school or universities outside their home countries. These reasons are different from student to student. However, I do believe that there are two main reasons behind this issue. The students study aboard because they can gain many valuable experiences from staying outside their home countries. They want to improve their language skill especially English language.
Students can gain many valuable experiences from studying aboard. Firstly, they can learn to live alone in another country. They also have an opportunity to learn the culture and living style of the people in that country. Some students also do part time jobs during studying. Hence, they have a chance to learn to work as well as learn to manage to use their money. In addition, they have a chance to meet other students who come from different places. Consequently, they can learn about the ways that these people think which may be totally different. I think that these experiences can broaden their point of views and opinions. I do believe that these experiences are the valuable experiences which will be useful for them in the future.
Additionally, the students can improve their language skill especially English. Some students go to study aboard such as America and England in order to study English language. This is because English is the international language now. We will get less or no communication problems when we go aboard if we can speak English.
In conclusion, some students study board because they believe that they will gain many valuable experiences, which cannot be found in studying in their home countries. Some of them need to improve their English language skill as well.
