Although there are many reasons to go to Museums when traveling to new places, I believe that the main reasons are to learn the culture of those places, to see the famous painting and to get relaxed.
: To begin with, people tend to go to Museums when in new cities since Museum tell them cultural back grounds of the art works. In Museum you will see many kinds of paintings from which people are able to learn about the way of life, religions and wars of those days. Each work holds the message of the author and reflects the main ideas of those days. Arts are able to be regarded as the live history books.
: Moreover, people wish to see the originals of works of famous artists such as Gogh and Picasso which are usually seen in books and postcards. For instance, when I traveled to Holland, I went to Gogh museum. The originals of his painting are nothing short of remarkable since the colors of originals are completely different of those of copies and postcards. It is natural that people desire to appreciate originals when having opportunities in traveling.
: Finally, Museums heal people?fs stress and tiredness which are usually caused by traveling unfamiliar places. If you concentrate on watching the works, you will be released from them and get relaxed. So people consider Museum one of the healing places for travelers.
