Why do people attend college or university? Some people say because they want to get new experiences, some people say it is a career preparation, and others think they have to update their knowledge due to the increased knowledge. I think all above are reasons for attending college or university. Which you prefer depends on your own experience, life style and knowledge level. I prefer people attend college or university for career preparation most in my point of view.
First, in most country, only those people who attended college or university can get better jobs and higher pay. Most people have to attend college or university before they begin to work. Just like me, after graduated, I got even 5 times pay more than my most high-school classmates. In the same time, there are many people who have worked for years go back college or university to change their major for better job.
Second, the education by college or university is the basis of the work skill. Not only theory but also practice can you learn about Algebra, Economics, Physics, Computer and etc in college or university. All these knowledge will help you be fast in control of the ability required by your future job. Without doubt, these will elevate your efficiency and let you get promotion easy.
There are still many other reasons that can account for my fondness for it, but the obvious ones have been presented as above. People always attend college or university for career preparation.
