Once we are thrown into our own stages of work ,it is undoubtedly inevitable for us to work with many different kinds of people ,sometimes a person you may well work closely with every day.So the characteristic of this person is becoming apparently important not only for you but for the work you are engaged in.
In my opinion, one of the most significant characteristics a co-worker should enjoy is the ability to gain trust of others. With our modern society fulfilled with modern technology, this seemingly unworthy-of-mentioning capability is coming to light with more and more attention and emphasis, especially in the situation where big companies and firms are stressing on what their employers should first have---the ability to be trusted,so they can adapt themselves to the surroundings with great ease.
Secondly, exellent capability of co-operation is another essential characteristic of a co-worker.Now that a co-worker is a person you are closely working with,so the work ahead belongs to you two,and often requires both of you to complete,co-operation, needless to say,is always of the first importance in this case.Imagine what it would be like if your co-worker did what interests him but let all other complex and boring jobs be stepping to you the last night before the deadline?
Besides, some other additional characteristic, something like good temper, can also be so well needed that it can do a lot to the sound maintainance of the partnership between you and your co-worker.
All in all, what I mentioned above will probably demonstrate what characteristics a co-worker should have and these may well be the basic and fundamental that are suitable to all cases.
