Although giving several vacations throughout the year might be beneficial to some students, in my opinion, I agree with providing the students with only one long vacation each year because of 3 main reasons.
Initially, It would be much easier to arrange the curriculum and make the learning continuous. In addition, students can do their homeworks or make their long-term papers or even presentaions without disruption from several vacations. For example, they need a variety of sources from the library during their works, so if shools are closed they couldn't search the knowledges in the library.
Next, students can plan for their vacation very easily becasue there are a large amount of vacation's time as opposed to be given periodic vacations during each semester. For example, if their home towns are in the further provinces or the other countries they are able tp go back living with their parents. Moreover, they can spend their vacation making a long trip.
Finally, some students need full time job to earn their livings. Conseqently, their employers might not be satisfied with periodic working. For example, one of my friends didn't do any part time job during the semester and his main reason is to concentrare on his study as much as possible .Accordingly, he spend the long vacation working as a full time employee
To sum up, I strongly agree with the long vacation because students and teachers benefit from it . Not only dose it make the study better but students can also relax and make their vacation's schedule wihout concerning about the length of time. Besides, some students can make money during that time.
