The college years are the best time in a person’s life.
Do you agree or disagree with the statement? Give reasons to support your opinion.
Although I have never been a student at a college, I have heard so many wonderful things about this time. I strongly believe that “The college years are the best time in a person’s life” and hope to be part of a college in the future.
It is considered that the best time in one’s life is the time he prepares for his path into the future. In college time, a student has the opportunity to obtain an all-sided education. It’s the time when the student know exactly what he wants to be and will be in his coming time. He will have chosen a major which corresponds to his potential and his preference by then. If I am interested in computers, I can choose Computer Science as my major during college time. The diversified experiences a college provides me will develop my intellectual skills and creative thinking as well as broaden my outlook on life.
Moreover, the college community is a young and creative community. There, I have the chance to participate in lots of absorbing activities. I can even organize events and explore new interests with like-minded friends. Diverse in our interests and backgrounds, we have the advantages of sharing our own experiences as well as learning from the others. And why shouldn’t I think of lifelong friends?
In addition, being a student at a college gives us the confidence that if we try our best, we will be able to secure high positions in society and in the various professions. It is the time of hope and effort.
All in all, my biggest aspiration now is to be a student at a college. I will try harder in order to have this wonderful time in a person’s life.
