For many centuries, in my country, the horse has been the most important animal of all the species that lives in it. There are many reasons for that and if you ask different person they would probably gives you different answers. But for me the three most important reason are its utility at country work, its utility as a transport media and for its useful at sport & recreation.
Neither a mule, nor a donkey can do all things that a horse do at country work. You can ride a horse and it can hold you all day without protest. When you ride a mule or donkey if they don’t want to move anymore, wherever they are it could be very difficult to you to move them.
The horse is excellent as a transport media because of its power. In a mountain nobody can travel with a truck or a 4x4, but horse yes. Because of it power to climb mountains it is important to have a horse; you can reach all different kinds of land.
Another characteristic that elevate the horse to an important place at the Hall of Fame is its sports and recreational activities. When I was a child I ask my father to buy me a horse. He accepted and I rode my horse all weekends. I began to take riding classes and as adolescent I participated in many championships. I won many prizes and now I will represent my country in the next Olimpic Games at New Zealand.
No doubt, for the reasons above and for more, since the times of Cristobal Colon, the horse is the most important animal in my country.
