Upon to the question that which is more important for us in our life,knowledg from books we read,or personal experience in reality,people have different opinions about it.To gain knowledge from personal experience has many advantages,but at the mean time,it has many disadvantages,too.In my point of view,I would prefer hunting information from the unlimited collection of books in the world.In my opinion,it can provide a wider,more profound,and more flexible range of knowledge for us.
Firstly,books we read can provide us every kind of spirit pabulum,from natural science to social science,fro skills a worker gains from his own practical experience to life philosophy a tuitor generalizes about his friends and students.On the other side,one person can not experience everything,thus the personal experience in reality is limited to a much more smaller range
.
Secondly,thoughts and ideas from a book is usually deeper than a personal experience in reality.As everybody knows,books are usually written by a reputable person in a certain research field,or a professional person at a kind of technology,and it is revised many times,thus it comes from the writer¡¯s thorough meditation and authorizing experimentation.
Finally,books give a person more flexibility than experiences do in reality.A person can choose when to read,where to read,and what to read.He can also keep his own pace of reading.However,a person can not choose when to come across a love affair,which is an instance of personal experiences.
For the reasons presented above,I strongly commit to the notion that knowledge from books I read is more important than personal experiences in my life.
