There are many students have to live with roomates while going to school or university. I definitely concentrate to determine and decide to live with a roommate so that the good characteristics should be thought in advance. In my point of view , the important criteria which can be guided people to make a decision of their roommate are open-minded, cooperative ,and good manner.
The first significant characteristics is open-minded. It is a lot of spending time to live with roommate so that it is easier to possibly occur and make a conflict feeling for each other. It is the best if my buddy has open-minded. Some conflict events which are not so serious can be releived automatically. For instance, if I accustom myself to sing a song during take a bath, it may make annoying with my roommate and possibly intensify his or her angry emotion.
Besides the open-minded , cooperative person is also important for roommates to get along. Additionally , when roommates have helped together for doing or managing a something , it will be great benefits. Persumably, the roommates share their resposibilities to do housework; as a result, they can save time for concentration of studying. Also, they will have a flexible choice to alternate or transfer job when someone has no time.
The one of good characteristic shoud be good manner. Good manner roommate can make the other one feels convenient to live together. For example, the good manner roomate will avoid smoking inside the room if the other one does not like it. Of course, it is difficult to proof beforehand whether our roommate will has a good manner or not. However, we should determine and try to conceive and pre-judge by short conversation with our prospective roommate.
All things considered, I believe that the most important characteristics of roommate should be open-mined, cooperative, and good manner.It is easiest for anyone to make a good fellowship and happiness of living together when he or she can get a roommate with above gerneral characteristics. Nevertheless, all roommates should try to adjust themselves in whatever to get along well with their roommate.
