People always are learning and practicing through in their whole lives. Even though knowledge gained from experience and knowledge gained from books share similar characteristics, they are also different. From my point of view, I agree with the idea, knowledge from experience is more important than those from books, but I also have points of disagreement.

On one hand, experience can help improve and advance the world and our society. It can prove whether the knowledge from books is true or false. For example, a few years ago, people learned from textbook that the earth was flat. However, scientists proved that was absolutely wrong through observations and measurement. Moreover, there are a lot of things that could be not found from books, such as how to fall in love and married.

On the other hand, books are very wonderful in teaching people essential principles. How are the ancestors of human beings look like? How to speak and write and understand mathematical equatations? Books also teach us all branches of knowledge and tell us good things to do and bad things to avoid. In addition, if we become famous, how can we remain our immortal fame without books?

Michael Faraday, the greatest English physicist in 19th century, once said: “The truth comes from practices and experience”. People are continually discovering many new things and the knowledge from experience help us much more than those from books.
