1.For each nation, there are numerous holidays honoring people or events, but none of them are created by us ordinary people. If I have an opportunity to create a new holiday, I would set a holiday called ˇ°Allegianceˇ± to commemorate a dog.
2.This action results from a moving story happened in Japan. It is said that every day, a dog were used to waiting his host at the station to go back home. But one day, the host died from an instantly accident and therefore would never come back. However, what surprise people was that this allegiant dog kept waiting for its host without eating or drinking and finally died of hunger. I am greatly surprised and deeply touched by this loyal dog. Allegiance is something that we are gradually missing with the development of modern technology and the growing trend of mammonism. So to gain the public awareness of this indispensable quality, I think it is necessary to propagate that loyal dog. Now, let me present a few steps to celebrate this holiday----ˇ°Allegianceˇ±.
3.I will carry out some activities in communities, schools, and clubs. I will let people realize that allegiance is an important tradition that should be passed on from one generation to another, no matter how advanced our society is. The propagations will be in forms of making speeches, discussing, or reading.
4.In addition, I will turn to our information dissemination medium, say, television programs. This method, I believe, will be of great help in that television has the most audiences of all backgrounds. To enhance the importance of this program, maybe I will invite some celebrities, such as famous politicians, movie stars or sports stars.
