Going to school
In future, i might have the choice of studying at home by using technology such as computers, DVD players or the television, or of studying at traditional schools. In such a case, i would prefer to study at school.
An education does not imply getting information alone from a particular source. It is a learning process which is a combination of receiving information, comprehending that information in a precise manner and using it rationally as and when needed not only for one's own benefit but for the betterment and well being of all. This process involves moulding one's thoughts and feelings, strong motivation and inspiration, which only humans, be it teachers, or the fellow companions can impart.
A tutor, besides providing the requisite information, also inspires one to strive for a better performance and to excell. There can be no significant improvement in one's ideas and opinions without challenges and critisism. The class room certainly meets this goal.
Studying at home in solitude with computers etc can end up being dull and boring. One may get distracted by trivial things when studying at home. On the other hand, at school, working as part of a team can be more exciting and facilitates rapid exchange of idea's and information.
In conclusion, i would prefer to study in a school, as i need the stimulus of the classroom to motivate me,the students to interact with, and information from as many sources as possible.
