Contemporary society is often portrayed as a world of competition. Gone with the days when people live in the forests,wear the tree leaves,eat raw meat and seem to be primiraitive cooperative.There are full of challenges in our daily life.Everybody desires for success.But the conpitition is serious,only very little of us can achieve success.Of course, there are great deal difference in every successful person.Albraham Lincoln's brave,Teresa's kind,Einstein's genius,Mary Curio's hard working are all cited as evidence that every great man have their own feature.No matter how different they are, I think there is one thing so common in the characteristic of most great peapl.That is persistence.
First of all,persistence is the motive to retry when you face failure.Just like Einstein said"Genuis is one percent of inspiration and ninty-nine percent of perspiration". No one can avoid difficulty in the way to success.When meeting problems, it is the beleif of sticking up that courage us not to give up.After failing hundreds of times, Edison's persistence won him the invention of bulb.So nothing is impossible,until you give up.
Secondly,persistenc helps you to form a sound character.Some people may never success in his life.However, as he persist in doing one thing, he will feel be buried in the happyness. The effect will seem to be not as important as the procedure. We can gain great joy from the procedure.I have a teacher who spend his whole life in trying to find a conducive medicine for cancer. Until now he hasn't success,but he said that he feel very happy even if I will never success.Maybe it is the persistence that make him enjoy the procedure rather than the result.
Last but not least, once you have the persistence to do one thing, I think your will success in one sense."There is a will,there is a way." Different standards of success lie in the heart of everyone of us.Success is neither the great invention,nor the great work.It is a kind of psychological fulfillment.Once a man take the whole of his life persisting doing one thing ,I think, he has already gained his own success.
Success is not decided by one feature. There are still a lot of other factors can account for one's success,such as courage,hard-working,modest and so on.As far as I was concerned, I think the persistence is of the most importance and indispensible.So whatever you are doing,just stick up ,never give up and you will success in the future.
