Some people believe that they can learn better by themselves than with a teacher and others think that it is always better to learn with a teacher. In my opinion, learning with a teacher is better. In this essay, I will present to you about the advantages of learning with the teacher in my personal ideas.
Firstly, I can ask the teacher to explain about some points that I do not understand. Teacher can give me a clearer explanation and practical examples.
In addition, I can share my opinion with the teacher so that I can broaden my point of view. Teacher can also tell me about his or her experiences concerning the topic I am studying. I think that it is more interesting than learning by myself because I cannot share my ideas with teacher.
Moreover, there are many students in a class. Therefore, I can exchange my ideas with other students as well. In some discussions, some students may disagree with my idea. Hence, I have a chance to learn how to convince the others by using my supporting ideas. I think this is quite useful for all students because they will meet this kind of situation in future.
Lastly, sometimes the teacher gives the students group assignments. Consequently, I have an opportunity to learn to be a group leader. For this, I will gain some experience to assign tasks to appropriate members.
To summarize, I think that teaching style is different from teacher to teacher. Some teachers have a great teaching style so that they can make their students feel like joining their classes. However, some teachers cannot do this. Consequently, their students prefer to learn by themselves. In my personal ideas, learning with the teacher is better. I will gain not only knowledge but also some useful experiences. I can share my ideas with the teacher as well as the other students in the class. I cannot do something like this by learning by myself.
