Some people think that they can learn better by
themselves than with a teacher. Others think that it is
always better to have a teacher. Which do you prefer?
Use specific reasons to develop your essay.
There are different ways of studying, and there is no rule for all situations. But as concerns me, having a teacher is usually necessary and important. Of course, I mean experienced and well-qualified teacher. His/her ability to organize my lessons, to improve my mistakes and his/her experience can be of great help to my knowledge.
First of all I should confess that sometimes I am a very idle person. I can postpone my lessons and think, that, “I can do it tomorrow” every day. The teacher doesn’t allow me to put off till tomorrow what can be done today. He or she can also help to organize my time during the lessons, telling what should I pay more attention on.
On other hand, it is definitely very useful to share your thoughts with an experienced teacher. The subject becomes easier to understand in dispute with clever people. And it is important when someone challenge you. The teacher usually knows your weak and strong points after some discussions and will make an accent on the things you understand worthier.
While studying I don’t notice sometimes my mistakes. As the result I can have a wrong idea about the whole subject. Sometimes it is very difficult to find where are you mistaken, for example, in solving a problem. And it is great when you can ask for help your teacher. When I asked my friends to help, they just showed me the right decision and it doesn’t develop my brain and my way of thinking. The teacher will find the wrong places, point your view on them and you will be able to continue the solving yourself.
To resume my preference I would like to say that the studying becomes exciting and interesting with the teacher. His or her instructions are very useful because I appreciate the help in organizing my time, improving my mistakes and sharing the experience. And I would like to say “Thank you” to all my teachers who were with me during my life.
