Dear Mr. Lougheed,
I have bought your book last week and I am writing my first essay today. I would appreciate if you could give me a feedback so I can improve myself in writing essays. Here it is:
Many businessmen believe in hiring inexperienced employees in their businesses.. The reason behind the idea is to cut on cost and expenditures for the company.. I don’t believe in this maxim.. I think that hiring a well-experience staff could bring tremendous benefits for the company in the long term.. Of the long list of benefits, three of them stand out: Quality of work is guaranteed, productivity is increased and resources of the company is maximized..
Having a well-experience employee would mean more profit for the company since the quality of work is guaranteed. Since the employee brings in a lot of experience to his work, the resulting output would be refined and precise as the company would have expected .
The term “Time is money” is a well accepted motto in the business community. Hiring a highly skilled employee would cut the delivery time of a certain product in half. Compared to a rookie in the workplace, a veteran would start to be productive on the first day of work.. No additional mentoring is required to accomplish the work.
The resources of a company are limited especially for start-ups.. On start-up companies, employees are required to be a multi-skilled. They are required to do some odd jobs like doing a presentation, preparing quotation documents and making reports..
Employees with long experiences fits perfectly to this type position..
In summary, employees with a wide perspective of a workplace could benefit a company more than a novice worker.. A company would be in a competitive advantage hiring a professional employee as the products of the company would be of higher quality, delivery time would be faster and and profits for company would be greater..
