Should business hire employees for their entire lives?upon to this question, many people especially in my countrry, china, will definitely answer it ˇ°yesˇ±.but with the progress of the society, more and more people including me are taking a fresh look at it,and disagree with this statement.there are numerous reasons why I disagree with it,but I will illustrate three most important ones which I think are enough.
First of all ,hiring employees for their entire lives delays the development of the company .once somenone is hired, knowing that he will never be fired whether he works well or not,he will work without pressure and competition, and will be lazy to creative new methods or things to improve his efficiency.that is fatal to a company .we all know that only pressure and competition will make a company even a society full of ennergy and advanced forward.
Another equally important reason is that it is unfair to the young people.the follow example will explain why.tom is my cousin and I always look upon him for he is very excellent.but after he graduated from college,he can not find a satisfied job not because of his ability not the life-long hire system.sevseral emploers turned down his application unreluctantly ,telling him that though they were in bad need of some promising employees like him, they cannot fire anyone in their company ,so it cannot accommodate more persons.what a pity!
The last but not the least important, this system will bring about corruption.everyone wants to be hired by a famous good company,so they will go all out to get the place.there are absolutely someone without genuine knowledge who will do corruption or do harm to their competitors.
Admittedly, this system has its own advantages, but its disadvantages outweigh them.from what I have discussed above ,I strongly disagree with this system.it is out of date, and should be replaced by a more scientific one.
