I agree that MOST things are good in moderation. Heroin, war, prostitution, and hate are not good in moderation. And for the most part T.V. is not good in any moderation. I think there are a few, and I mean very few, television programs that provide any benefit to the human spirit, mind, and overall well-bring. The Travel Channel and Discovery Channel have been the only two that I have stumbled on so far. But for the majority of Americans, if they watch T.V., they are forced to chose from ABC, CBS, NBC, WB, or FOX (unless you pay $40 a month for extra crap). The things displayed on here are nothing but a bunch of crap and can probably be blamed for many problems in our youth. These programs may not come out directly and say horrible things, you can't tell me a thirteen-year-old who watches an hour of T.V. and is bombared with messages essentially telling here she must be anorexic, unconfident, and sluttly to be loved, isn't being damaged. I could go on and on and on about this topic, but I simply have other things to do. But please, think of all the wonderful things that the damn television is stealing from you everytime you sit down to a Must See Thursday Night Special.
